Scholarship Launch Night

Cedar Court Hotel, Huddersfield played host to our annual Scholarship Launch evening, to welcome our 2026/27 intake of Scholars, and welcome back our second year cohort of Under 16s

The evening was presented by Scholarship Head Coach, Chris Cullimore, who welcomed everybody in the room and ran through key dates for the boys. There were three guest speakers on the evining, Non Executive Director, Rebecca Wood, Non Executive Director and Life President, Keith Hellawell and Chairman of the HGSA Richard Jackson all stood up, explianed how proud they were and spoke a great deal about the history of the club and how the young hopefuls in the room, are the future of the Giants.

To give a perspective on what the Giants Pathway System can bring, Lewis Jagger was too in attendance for a Q&A on stage.

Each player in both the Under 15s and 16s were announced on stage, with a shout out to their community clubs, something that means a great deal to the Giants pathway system, as they have played a key part in getting them where they are today.
