REACTION TO 2018’S GIANTS AWARDS EVENING

See who won what at the Giants Awards Evening

Huddersfield Giants’ Annual Awards Evening went down a treat as Players, Coaches, Supporters and Partners gathered to see the winners of the 2018 season.

Prop forward Paul Clough was the winner of the Coaches Player of the Year Award, which was sponsored by KP Motor Engineers, at the 2018 Giants Awards Evening, which was sponsored by Easy Fireplace.

Ryan Hinchcliffe, who will retire at the end of the campaign, was presented with the Supporters Player of the Year and Try of the Season Awards thanks to another season of tireless performances in a Giants shirt and after finishing a spectacular team try against Hull FC in the Super 8s.

Adam O’Brien was voted the Players Player of the Year (Sponsored by GEO Survey) after enjoying an influential campaign for the Claret and Gold.

Aaron Murphy scooped the Giants on Tour Award (voted by supporters on away coaches) after another consistent season with the Club.

There were two awards for Jermaine McGillvary who picked up the Harold Wagstaff Supporters Association Award and the Outstanding Achievement Award (Sponsored by Easy Fireplace) after his stunning World Cup performances that helped take England to the 2017 Rugby League World Cup Final.

Innes Senior won the Academy Player of the Year Award (Sponsored by Fantastic Media) and Ross Whitmore was presented the Ronan Costello Memorial Award (Sponsored by Senan Costello)

Club Captain Leroy Cudjoe won the Community Player of the Year Award (Sponsored by the Huddersfield Giants Community Trust)
