Huddersfield Giants Community Trust works in partnership with schools throughout Kirklees delivering a wide variety of projects to improve the lives of young people. Through our work we are able to develop physical literacy while teaching the fundamentals of Rugby League.
Our highly qualified and experienced staff work in conjunction with schools to ensure delivery is appropriate for your students, as well as meeting your school’s requirements. Programmes are bespoke and provide many additional benefits such as increased health and wellbeing, confidence, attendance and social inclusion.
Schools and students are also offered unforgettable experiences such as meeting first team players and the club’s mascot, Big G, as well as discounted ticket offers, participation festivals and teacher CPD opportunities.

The RFL alongside the Youth Sport Trust have developed a set of exciting resources to help teachers and coaches in Primary schools. The resources offer activities that support the physical development of young people in PE and school sport and provide an innovative approach to the introduction of Rugby League aimed at Key Stage 1 and 2.
Rugby League After-School Clubs
Our after-school clubs run a very similar programme to our curricular coaching sessions but with a bigger focus on modified rugby games and skills that accompany these games. There is a massive emphasis on fun, self-achievement and self-confidence.
