Giants Delighted to See Restrictions Lifted

Huddersfield Giants are happy to announce that the John Smiths Stadium has been granted a license by Kirklees Council to return to play at the stadium without restrictions.

This means that from the Hull FC game on 22nd July supporters will be able to use their Season Cards as normal and return to their chosen seats. Further advisory guidance, in respect of behaviours recommended within the ground and on match day, will be issued prior the game.

Huddersfield Giants Richard Thewlis said “We are over the moon to welcome supporters back to the stadium without restrictions whilst being respectful of course of all advices we continue to receive from the RFL via the Government Department of Culture, Media and Sport. These advices are changing constantly and we will communicate them when appropriate ahead of the game. I can say though that for the Hull game we will open and steward all of the Chadwick Lawrence Stand and Core Stand Lower Tier should any supporters not wish to use their seats but prefer for personal reasons to sit in an area which would naturally be less congested.”

Non Season Ticket holders will be able to purchase tickets in advance on line or over the phone. There will be no cash turnstiles, Bars and concession units will be card payments only as the stadium will be operating as a cashless venue. However for the remainder of this season supporters will be able to pay cash to park in the St Andrews Car Park. Anybody who has lost or misplaced their Season Card please contact Rachel on 01484 484159. Please note that from the 21st July the stadium ticket office will be open for collections Wednesday – Friday 10 am – 4 pm.
