KEY INFORMATION AHEAD OF SHAY VISIT

Everything you need to know prior to temporary switch.

As the claret and gold prepare to make the mid-season temporary move to the Shay Stadium in Halifax, giantsrl.com takes a look at all the essential information to ensure a smooth transition and a typically vibrant match day experience for supporters.  

Due to essential pitch renovation work at the Galpharm Stadium, Nathan Browns side will play the following fixtures at The Shay;

Huddersfield Giants v Castleford Tigers

Sunday 5^th June, Kick Off 5.45pm

Huddersfield Giants v Catalan Dragons

Saturday 18^th June, Kick Off 7.15pm

Huddersfield Giants v Crusaders RL

Sunday 3^rd July, Kick Off 3.00pm

2011 Giants Season Ticket Holders are required to exchange their vouchers before the day of the game at the Galpharm Stadium Ticket Office.

Match Tickets are also on general sale from the Galpharm Stadium Ticket Office in both the West and South Stands. Supporters are advised that they can also pay on the day in the terraced South Stand. The prices are below;

£18 Adults, £12 Concessions, £5 Juniors 12-16, Under 12’s FREE tickets will be available from the Main Reception at Halifax.

Adults - £21
Concessions - £15
Juniors (12-16) - £8
Under 12's - Free Of Charge

Matchday Car Parking
Supporters are advised that matchday car parking is available in the multi storey car park on Hunger Hill by the Stadium at a cost of £4 per car.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Can we purchase tickets on Match Day? 

Tickets are available in the South Stand on the day but the Club are urging supporters to pre buy tickets for these matches. Please bear in mind there are no card facilities at the Shay and all tickets would have to be paid for in cash, there is also no cash machine at this ground.

• Can I use my Galpharm Stadium Car Park Pass ?

No your Galpharm Pass will not be accepted at The Shay

• Is there any car parking available?

Yes there is a Multi storey car park behind the North Stand, car parking is £4 per vehicle, and this can also be pre purchased from the Galpharm Ticket office or paid on the day.

• Will I be able to use Buddy Vouchers on Match Day?

No Buddy vouchers will not be accepted on the day, these will need to be exchanged in advance

• What disabled facilities are there available for these matches?

Anybody with any disabled requirements must call or visit the Galpharm Ticket office, disabled tickets must be pre booked and will not be available on the day.

• Can I use my Season Ticket Vouchers on Match Day?

No, all vouchers must be exchanged at the Galpharm Ticket Office for a match ticket before the game

• Will any merchandise be on sale at The Shay?

There will be no merchandise on sale at the Shay games, so we would urge you to visit the Giants Superstore to purchase any goods you may require.

• Will there be Drinks/Food available on Match Day?

There will be Drinks & Food available in every stand on Match Day

• Can I swap between stands pre match/during match?

No there will be no transfers between stands and you will have to stay in the stand to which your ticket applies
