LEYLAND PENS GIANTS CONTRACT

Huddersfield Giants can confirm that Oli Leyland has penned a professional contract until the end of the season.
Leyland pens a contract after impressing in the Reserves, with two great displays vs St Helens and London Broncos, with the Giants coaching staff moving to offer Oli a contract.
Oli will provide important cover for the half-back role, as we look to continue our winning run and move ourselves from the bottom of the table, after 3 wins in our last 3 games.
The former London and Warrington half-back pens a short term contract with the club until the end of the 2026 season, after leaving the Wolves earlier this year.
Oli commented on working hard to earn himself a deal at the club.
"I'm delighted to sign here at the club, i've worked hard since coming and played some reserves games which I think i've played well in, so its a good feeling that the staff have shown faith to offer me a deal.
"It's been good training with Tui, Clune, Kez to learn from them, the experienced players here and how to improve my game."
Director of Rugby Andy Kelly discussed signing Oli for the remainder of the season.
"Oli is a fantastic edition for our squad. It gives us a bit more depth in the halfbacks, we've been a little bit frail at times with cover, so Oli is a great inclusion with regards to the squad and if he's required to play, we know he's capable of doing it."
