GIANTS REVEAL GRADING SCORE

Huddersfield Giants have remained 12th place on the Grading scores as they are released this morning, which secures our Super League status.
The Huddersfield Giants grading has been revealed as being maintained in the 12th position however increasing the margin away from the relegation trapdoor by an additional number of points from the 2025 position. With significant regulatory changes to the rules this year from the previous year a number of clubs show depreciating scores however the Giants health remains robust.
Giants Managing Director Richard Thewlis explained some of the key issues.
"As we’ve consistently stated all year we knew that our Super League place was assured and today's news is confirmation of that. The Grading System of point scoring is a complex one and changes particularly in the area of community and finance make some quite hefty adjustments.
"In a bizarre manner one may say we previously scored a number of points for our community scheme and now score 100% points yet the mark decreases. In similar fashion our attendances and social media numbers (both key metrics for us) have also all increased yet the amendments made in regulations there and those surrounding owner investment as live examples ultimately reduce our overall mark from last year as other clubs have seen also.
"The positives to take from this are that we move further away and widen the gap to the dreaded 15th position and the move to Dewsbury will also aid our mark going forwards. We immediately for example have primacy of tenure and a guaranteed percentage increase on stadium fill due to its capacity being significantly lower than the Accu.
"Supporters often ask what can they do to help the IMG gradings and really its two fold. Firstly match attendances and secondly social media interactions."
