LYNCH AND SCREENE PROMOTED FROM WOMENS U19'S

Huddersfield Giants are delighted to announce that Olivia Screene and Bo Lynch have been promoted to the First Team.

The two players have impressed heavily throughout the 2026 campaign and have been rewarded as they join up with Nathan Graham's First team, following in the footsteps of members of their squad already announced to be joining the first team.

First Team Head Coach Nathan Graham commented.

"Promoting Bo and Olivia to the first team squad from the U19s was a no brainer for the coaching staff. They have already played at 1st team level and their performances have been full of real quality. Again, the fact we have these players coming through is a real endorsement of our Giants women's pathway system from P2P (15’s & 16’s ) to U19s and the good quality coaches involved. 

"As with the other girls stepping up, the challenge now is for these girls to develop physically, mentally and skill wise in order to be able to push for a place in the team week in week out. 
The addition of fresh faces from within and from outside the club will drive performance and create better players and a winning environment."
