Bathroom retailer refurbishes Huddersfield showroom on St John's Road

Easy Bathrooms, which is based on St John’s Road in Huddersfield, has undergone a £10,000 refurbishment and display refit, to mark the store’s fifth anniversary.

The showroom – which has over 100 fully-tiled bathroom displays – was Easy Bathrooms’ second location when it was launched back in 2013 by local businessman Craig Waddington. Since then, the firm has expanded across the UK, now with 33 showrooms nationwide – including a superstore and warehouse in Birstall, Leeds.

But keen to maintain its reputation locally, Easy Bathrooms has invested heavily into Huddersfield’s showroom, recently completing a four-week renovation of the 11,000 sq ft store.

Employing four staff, the showroom now boasts Easy Bathrooms on-trend products, from its spring-summer 2019 brochure. Tile options include some of 2019’s most inspirational and interior design-led ranges; such as wood-effect, marble-effect, geometric, patterned, textured and large-format. Bathroom products include vanity units, mirrors, designer radiators and towel rails, walk-in-showers and freestanding baths.

Talking of the renovation, Craig Holdsworth, the store manager, said: “We couldn’t be happier with the refit – it has an instant impact on customers when they walk in, and we’re so proud to show-off all of our newest products. It means we now have Yorkshire’s most inspirational showroom, for both home owners and trade customers – and we welcome them to come and have a look around”

As well as running an in store 50% off sale for customers, the store is also offering to beat any trade supply quotes.

Craig Waddington said: “We’ve been based in Huddersfield for five years now, and it’s a store that I personally hold close to my heart – and will continue to do, even as we expand further throughout the UK. We have great links in Huddersfield. Easy Bathrooms is a Huddersfield Giants sponsor for the second-year-running, appearing on the club’s kit. The store is open seven days a week, with free parking available.

Next locations for Easy Bathrooms’ expansion include Reading, Bradford and Glasgow.
