​Firstaid4sport put Player Wellness first

Giants Medical Supplier refurbishes Player Wellness and Recovery Room

Firstaid4sport became the official medical supplier for the Huddersfield Giants on the 1^st of November 2019 after agreeing a three-year contract with the club.

Part of this agreement was as a company we would provide the players and medical team with a brand-new Players Wellness and Recovery Room.

The room opened on Thursday 19^th December at 1pm.

Catherine Gray, Business Development Manager at Firstaid4sport, has been in charge of the project from the beginning and understands the importance of this room to the team.  

“One of the most important parts of professional sport is that players are able to rest and recover. We are incredibly proud to have been able to provide the Huddersfield Giants squad a new Wellness & Recovery Room.

“This is something that they didn’t have previously and when the Medical Team approached us to provide it, we couldn’t refuse.

“We really do hope that the team enjoys what we have put together and look forward to working with them and the whole team at Huddersfield over the next 3 years.”

However, we could never have achieved this goal without the help of both the players and a number of local businesses and Catherine would like to thank all those have helped us throughout this journey.

“With help from the players themselves we have built a place they can relax and spend time together as a team away from the pitch.

“We would like to thank the following businesses that have helped us see the plan become reality: RJN Decorating, Dixon & Franks Carpets, H & S Electrical and KC Sofas, who are local businesses to Huddersfield,” said Gray.
