Suaia Matagi has joined Castleford Tigers on a season long loan

Suaia Matagi has joined Castleford Tigers on a season-long loan for the 2021 season. 

Huddersfield Giants Managing Director, Richard Thewlis said: “I can confirm that Suaia Matagi has joined the Tigers on a season long loan arrangement with immediate effect. When Ian spoke to me regarding his plans for the 2021 squad we, as a club, gave him a promise that we would do all we could to could within reason to help shape the squad in the manner he wanted. 

"This is the first of a number of changes that we are working towards as we approach our new era under Ian’s control. Suaia has been a superb professional in his time with us and will leave with nothing but plaudits from those here who worked with him and whilst its always difficult to see players leave it is a reality of the world of professional sport. We wish Suaia every success at Castleford.”
