Hello and Welcome Back again to the John Smith's Stadium for our Betfred Super League fixture against Catalans Dragons. Its obviously been a tough few weeks for the squad, with so many people, including myself, missing through injury.

While we're depleted, this period is an opportunity for our younger players to step up and bring the energy and enthusiasm that they can offer our squad and challenge for places in the first team. I have the upmost confidence that, that will be the case.

Playing against the form team in the competition is always tough, but adversity and facing up against a strong side in form, like the Dragons, often motivates you to go that extra mile for your teammates and for your club. It will be a tough game fought between two good teams, and in order to get a result, we'll need to maintain the high level of intensity on both sides of the ball that has been a hallmark of our performances this year that have ended in victory. Replicate that drive and desire when attacking and defending, and we'll give ourselves a good chance of getting a result that would surely represent a signature victory in 2021 for this club.

Elsewhere, it's an exciting night for one Giants Academy youngster and I'd like to be the first to congratulate Will Pryce on his expected debut, and as a player who also came through the Giants Academy, wish him all the best on what must be surely an exciting day for him and his family. Having watch him in the Academy in the past few years, I know he's an outstanding talent with great ability. One of the many talented players working their way into the first team through our Youth Academy. The future is bright at Huddersfield, and Will is just one example of that.

Finally, I'd like to say thanks to you all for your cooperation with the stadium's restrictions and guidelines and most importantly, thank you for your support in this Betfred Super League season. I hope the team can deliver a win for you today!

Thanks and stay safe,
MICHAEL LAWRENCE
