Hello and welcome to the John Smith's Stadium for tonight's Betfred Super League Round 21 clash with Warrington Wolves. With not long left of the season to go, tonight's game gives our squad the opportunity to test ourselves against one of the most competitive teams in the Super League. 

Once again, the Giants 21-man squad this week features a high number of players who have graduated from our Academy, with eleven out of 21 produced by Huddersfield, and it's been tremendous to see the fruits of the work completed by Andy Kelly and the youth department in producing players for the Huddersfield club. None of which could have been made possible without the continued support of the H.G.S.A. The development of the younger lads this season has been a real positive and sets us up well for the future. 

I'd like to extend my congratulations to my teammate Leroy Cudjoe, who's recently been working with the England Community Lions in a coaching capacity, and also extend congratulations to Kameron Siddique, one of my next door neighbours from the Giants Scholarship program, who became the first player of Asian descent to captain an England side. Alongside Kameron, I hope the experience was a positive one for the five players from the Giants program who featured for the Community Lions; Oliver Whitford, Jayden Billy, Sonny Cooper, Louie Gibson and Ryan Joseph.

Onto tonight's opponents, Warrington represent exactly the kind of challenge that a team like ours really looks forward to. Warrington are a tough team with loads of quality players across the park who are looking to keep their form up leading into the Super League playoffs. We have, however, already secured a victory against the Wolves side through a combination of hard-work in defence and sticking to our processes and structures in attack. What we've done before, we can do again. It would represent a signature win leading into the end of the Betfred Super League season, and building for 2022.
