Giants unveil 2022 Squad Numbers

Huddersfield Giants have unveiled their Squad Numbers for the 2022 Betfred Super League Season. Tongan International half-back Tui Lolohea, French International Theo Fages and England International Chris Hill have received Numbers 6, 7 and 8 respectively, with new arrival from the NRL New Zealand International Danny Levi taking the Number 9 shirt. Giants Young Player of the Year, Will Pryce will sport the number 1 jersey, with Ashton Golding taking the number 5 jersey.

Fellow arrivals Sebastine Ikahihifo & Nathan Mason have received numbers 18 and 26 respectively, and Academy graduates Fenton Rogers (32), Aidan McGowan (33), Kieran Rush (34) and George Roby (35) are among eighteen players in the list to have played in the Huddersfield Giants' Academy.

Huddersfield Giants Head Coach, Ian Watson said: "Coaching staff don’t get caught up on squad numbers as it is about the team being important and we have all seen over the last few years that every squad member is important especially with the Covid-19 situation ongoing."

"My Decisions on selection will be based on the best fit for the team based on performances in training and games will determine who starts v Toulouse in Round One, not on what number they have."
