Huddersfield Giants Community Trust is a registered charity (1117768) and non-profit making organisation.

Using the influence of professional sport, the trust is responsible for all community sports and educational activities on behalf of Huddersfield Giants Rugby League.

Huddersfield Giants Community Trust has the ability to engage people, improve community cohesion, improve fitness and well-being and raise the hopes and aspirations of the people of Kirklees and wider.

The charity uses the power of sport to inspire people of all ages and abilities through four key areas: Sport, Education, Health and Social Inclusion. The Trust engages with over 200,000 people every year through sports coaching within The Zone, local schools, grassroots clubs and the wider community.

Community Manager

Salary: Competitive rate - dependant on experience

Contract: 37.5 hours per week, Fixed Term for  year;  view to be permanent after 2 years (flexible approach towards additional hours as necessary)

Location: The Zone, off St Andrews Road, Huddersfield HD1 6PT

Overview: To effectively manage and lead the community department. The Community Manager is responsible for growing and developing projects within the Trust, supporting the strategic aspirations and ambitions of the Trust across key themes of work. To secure funding for the Trust, contributing to the success and sustainability of the Trust, and those who operate within it.

Rugby League Development Coach

Salary: Range: £18,000-£21,000 per annum, dependant on experience

Contracted hours: 37.5 hours per week, view to be permanent after 2 years (flexible approach towards additional hours as necessary)

Location: The Zone, off St Andrews Road, Huddersfield HD1 6PT

Overview To develop and promote the game of Rugby League on behalf of the Huddersfield Giants Rugby League Football Club throughout Kirklees and the surrounding areas. To provide high quality development programmes for primary schools in all forms of Rugby league including teacher training. To support our education programme with training sessions and game support. To provide support match day entertainment at all Huddersfield Giants home games to ensure maximum entertainment for all supporting fans.
