Special Offer for Magic Weekend Ticket Holders

Magic Weekend ticket holders are being offered the chance to add an additional blockbuster rugby league fixture to their plans for this summer’s trip to the north east, with a special offer on tickets for the Betfred Championship clash between Newcastle Thunder and Bradford Bulls on Friday July 8.

A now traditional curtain raiser to two days of Betfred Super League action, all Magic Weekend purchasers are able to buy tickets for the 7:45pm kick off at Kingston Park Stadium for just £5.

The offer is open fans with Saturday, Sunday or Full weekend ticket holders as Thunder aim to break a 22-year-old club attendance record of 6,631 set against the same opposition in May 1999.

Super League fans taking advantage of the £5 can expect a Magic Friday spectacular after Thunder have announced the game will be in partnership with the Northern Pride festival.

There will be a festival feel to the evening, with a full programme of pre and post-match entertainment set to make this Magic Friday the biggest and best yet.

Full details will be announced in due course but with a schedule set to run right up to kick off and then late into the night, there is set to be something for sports fans and event goers to enjoy alike.

With Newcastle hosting UK Pride two weeks later between July 22 – 24 – in what is the 50th anniversary year of the first Pride march, Thunder will demonstrate its’ ongoing support for the LGBTQ+ community and continue to promote the importance of inclusivity within sport.

How do I buy Magic Weekend Tickets?

Tickets are officially on sale for the 2022 Magic Weekend as Huddersfield Giants will face Salford Red Devils at 1pm on Sunday 10th July at Newcastle United's St James' Park.

Huddersfield Giants have the best record of any Super League club at Magic Weekend and in recent years have made many notable performances, including the 2019 55-2 win over Hull FC at Liverpool's Anfield Stadium. The Giants will look to overcome Salford Red Devils at the 2022 Edition after a number of memorable encounters in recent years between the two sides.

With Ian Watson's men looking to get the better of the side from Greater Manchester and featuring a host of new signings like Theo Fages, Chris Hill, Danny Levi and former Salford Red Devils half-back Tui Lolohea, it is not an event to be missed.

Coach travel to the Magic Weekend will depart from only from the John Smith's Stadium at 9.00 am, and is priced at £18.
