Louis Senior joins Hull KR

Louis Senior has joined Hull KR on loan, and will join the club on a permanent basis at the beginning of the 2023 Season. The 22-year-old came through the Academy at Huddersfield and has gone on to make 40 appearances since making his debut in 2018, and has scored 23 tries in his time with the club. 

Huddersfield Giants Managing Director, Richard Thewlis said: “Louis has a wonderful opportunity at Hull KR to cement a place in their starting line-up for 2023 which his management company told us a while back he had accepted and we wish him every success. 

"We did offer him a deal for next season but that was rejected in favour of the Rovers which we fully accept as his right and understand his rationale for doing so. The reality is he is not currently playing week in week out and there is an immediate opportunity to bring his Hull KR arrangement forward on a loan basis which all parties have agreed to.

"We do have the right of recall this year within the signings deadlines should our situation change but for now this is a good deal for all concerned and as I say we wish Louis – who has been exemplary in every aspect here -  every success. He is another success story from our academy who has gone on to play in the Super League which brings great credit to our club and shows to all the pathways that we provide do work."
