SAM HEWITT HEADS OUT ON LOAN

Huddersfield Giants can confirm that Sam Hewitt will re-join Wakefield Trinity on a short term loan deal.

Sam, a product of the Giants Academy system will re-join fellow Betfred Super League side Wakefield Trinity, to gain valuable game time in the sports elite tier.

Managing Director Richard Thewlis commented on the move.

“As Ian has alluded to in his weekly press briefings loan opportunities may arise during the course of the year that we feel are beneficial for all concerned and this is one such occasion. 

"Sam will gain Betfred Super League game time for a couple of weeks with Wakefield and I am sure he will be a huge asset to them, after which we'll review the situation and see where all parties are.”
