Giants Squad News

Ian Watson this week, after seeing his side lose out once again by two points to St Helens last Thursday, could be boosted by the return of Tui Lolohea and Jake Bibby, who sat out the game vs the Saints with injury concerns.

Harry Rushton, Sam Halsall and Jake Connor have all impressed since coming into the side in recent weeks, with all looking to continue their place in the squad, with returning winger Innes Senior also scoring for the Giants vs St Helens.

Will Pryce, who moved to full-back to accommodate Esan Marsters in the halves impressed at the back, with his fast running style, allowed him to take on the opposition defensive line on numerous occasions, Ian Watson will face a numerous choice at who to select in his spine for what promises to be a tough game vs the free scoring Red Devils.

Key Men

Salford, commonly known for their free-flowing, risk taking style of Rugby League have one of the most valuable half-backs in the competition, in Brodie Croft, the sought after Australian signed a new seven-year deal with the Red Devils in 2023 after winning the Man of Steel trophy last season.

Looking at the spine positions, they also boast Ryan Brierley, the former Giants full-back who enjoyed one year at the John Smith's Stadium, the Scottish international has started the season how he left off 2022, in fine try scoring form.

Andy Ackers also was a standout performer for Salford in 2022, but the hooker is a doubt for Sunday's encounter after missing the clash with Wigan due to injury.
