LOAN WATCH | O'BRIEN HELPS HALIFAX TO VICTORY

With a number of players out on loan, let's take a look at their performances around the teams!
Sam Hewitt
Our Academy product Sam Hewitt, who is on loan at Wakefield Trinity, helped the club to secure their first win of the season and give them a fighting chance in their battle to avoid relegation.
Wakefield were reduced to 12 men during the second half, and even went 14-12 down, but battled back to win 24-14 and claim their first 2 points, well in, Sam!
Sam has consistently produced strong performances while in a Giants and Trinity shirt, and has had a solid 2023 to date.
Fenton Rogers
Fenton has impressed the Bradford faithful throughout the 2023 season and they cannot sing his praises enough, after barnstorming performances see our West Yorkshire neighbours sitting 5th in the Betfred Championship.
He also had his best game of the season vs Newcastle Thunder on Magic Friday, providing a looping pass to Kieran Gill as the Bulls opened the scoring, and then brushing aside a number of Newcastle tackles to set up Jordan Baldwinson for a try. This game also saw him awarded the fan voted 'Hitman of the Week'.
We look forward to seeing Fenton's progress throughout the season and as a club realise his high level of performances in a Bradford Bulls shirt.
Adam O'Brien
Our latest loanee move saw popular hooker Adam O'Brien join hometown club Halifax Panthers on a two-week rolling loan, and he impressed in his second debut for the club, as they defeated Swinton Lions 8-46 to get back to winning ways in the Betfred Championship.
It was Fax winger Lachlan Walmsley who made the headlines with four tries, but after Adam's introduction, the points started flowing from his speedy play.
He will look to get one over his former club and the club he made his name at, Bradford Bulls this Sunday as the Panthers travel to Odsal, with Adam up against fellow loanee Giant Fenton Rogers.
Aidan McGowan
Lastly, another fans favourite at the Giants and now at Batley Bulldogs, Aidan is continuing to impress now back at his settled full-back role at the Fox's Biscuits Stadium.
Aidan once again crossed the whitewash for the Bulldogs in another victory vs Newcastle Thunder, as Craig Lingards' side sit on 20 points and in 3rd place in the Betfred Championship.
Similarly to Fenton, it's great to see a Giants Academy product lighting up the Betfred Championship and we look forward to watching Aidan progress for the Bulldogs during 2023.
George Roby
George re-joined Swinton after leaving Bradford and has been a major part in their upturn in form, which has seen them pull away from bottom placed Newcastle and leave themselves within 1 point of safety as things stand.
They recently defeated fellow relegation candidates Keighley Cougars 28-34 at Cougar Park, with Lions centre Joey Romeo stealing the show with four tries.
He also came off the interchange bench as they defeated high-flying Toulouse Olympique 19-12, in one of the shock results of the season, we're looking forward to seeing how the season pans out for the Lions and keeping a keen eye on George's progress.
Nathan Mason
With Nathan now back at the Giants and undertaking his rehabilitation on the injury he suffered at Summer Bash, playing for the Bradford Bulls as they defeated Keighley, we thought we'd include a little on how Nathan was performing before the injury.
Nathan joined loanee Fenton at the Bulls and instantly made an impression on Brian Noble, Lee Greenwood and the fans alike, scoring two tries on his debut vs Swinton Lions, with his barnstorming plays.
He also turned the game on its head at the summer bash, with the Bulls trailing 12-8, he was introduced with fellow forward Ebon Scurr and punched holes in the Cougars defence, enabling Bradford to score tries for fun.
Connor Carr
Young winger / Centre Carr is on loan at Betfred League One and has been impressing for the Roughyeds, as they find themselves unbeaten at home and 3rd in the League.
Carr scored a try as they defeated Hunslet RLFC at home, and started in the centre as they defeated London Skolars 62-14 last time out.
Jack Bibby has now returned to the club after his two-week loan spell at the Bradford Bulls came to an end.
