TrustFord donate Ford Transit Kit Van to Huddersfield Giants

TrustFord, the UK’s largest Ford dealer group, which has a long-standing relationship with Huddersfield Community Trust, and Huddersfield Giants Women’s Super League Rugby team, has donated a Ford Transit Van to Huddersfield Giants Men’s Rugby League Club, which will be used by the men’s team to transport the kit to and from the training ground, and on matchdays.

Huddersfield Community Trust was first introduced to TrustFord through the company’s Fleet partnership with Yorkshire employer and provider of emergency vehicles, Venari.

As part of their partnership, in 2022 the national dealer group provided the ladies team and Community Trust with a 17-Seat Minibus to support their work with the teams and in the wider community.

Nichola Hobson (General Manager Fleet Operations at TrustFord) was present alongside Brian Blacker (Commercial Manager at Huddersfield Giants) Mike Bell (New Car Sales, TrustFord Huddersfield) and Leroy Cudjoe (Huddersfield Giants Rugby League player) to officially handover the keys to the Transit Kit Van.

Nichola Hobson said: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Huddersfield Giants, and we hope the Kit Van will make a difference to the Huddersfield Giants Men’s Rugby League Club. We look forward to following its adventures in the months ahead and wish the Giants team every success for the season.”  

Brian Blacker said: "It has been an absolute pleasure working with Trust Ford & launch what we hope will be a long & happy Partnership together. I contacted Nichola at TrustFord when our previous Kit Van had to go back to the supplier & Nichola along with several others pulled out all the stops to get us up & running with a new kit van as quickly as possible. 

The service we have had from them has been second to none & I can't thank them enough for all they have done.
