Huddersfield Giants are proud to support ‘Get Set Goal’

‘Get Set Goal’ is an initiative set up by The University of Huddersfield to provide one-on-one health checks to enhance the health and wellness of individuals. 

They provide well being workshops and other activities either in the work place or at events, all delivered by student nurses to progress and develop their skills.

Huddersfield Giants invited the team into The John Smiths Stadium to provide health checks to all employees across the site from Huddersfield Giants, Huddersfield Town and KSDL.

Staff were able to benefit from a free 10 minute check up covering blood pressure, heart rate and more, which if anything came up abnormal they would be advised go and see their GP.

Andrew Watson, Commercial Director commented “It left a lot of good feeling around the stadium, with everyone appreciating it. It's an amazing thing that the university have developed.”
