England’s Amelia Brown signs two-year deal in historic first for club
Huddersfield Giants are proud to announce England National Performance Squad winger Amelia Brown has signed a two-year deal the club in an landmark move for the Giants Women.
This is a historic first for the club regarding a multi-year contract for a Giants Women’s player.
Amelia joined the Giants in 2021, debuting against Warrington in the Women’s Challenge Cup. She has since scored 49 tries from just 33 top-flight appearances.
The 19-year-old was nominated for this year’s BWSL’s ‘Young Player of the Year’ award, following a stellar Women’s Super League campaign that saw her pick up hat-tricks against Leeds and Warrington.
This follows Amelia's addition to the England Women’s National Performance Squad as well as signing a professional contract with the club, alongside Bethan Oates.
On signing her 2-year contract, Amelia said:
“I am delighted to sign a two-year contract and look forward to continuing my journey with Huddersfield Giants.
