England’s Amelia Brown signs two-year deal in historic first for club

Huddersfield Giants are proud to announce England National Performance Squad winger Amelia Brown has signed a two-year deal the club in an landmark move for the Giants Women.

This is a historic first for the club regarding a multi-year contract for a Giants Women’s player.

Amelia joined the Giants in 2021, debuting against Warrington in the Women’s Challenge Cup. She has since scored 49 tries from just 33 top-flight appearances.

The 19-year-old was nominated for this year’s BWSL’s ‘Young Player of the Year’ award, following a stellar Women’s Super League campaign that saw her pick up hat-tricks against Leeds and Warrington.

This follows Amelia's addition to the England Women’s National Performance Squad as well as signing a professional contract with the club, alongside Bethan Oates.

On signing her 2-year contract, Amelia said:

“I am delighted to sign a two-year contract and look forward to continuing my journey with Huddersfield Giants.

I am really looking forward to what the next few years will hold and would like to thank all those who have helped me so far.”
