WSL Shield-winning Chloe Fairbank re-joins Giants Women

Giants Women can announce the re-signing of 2021 Women’s Super League Shield-winning forward Chloe Fairbank.

Chloe’s rugby career began at West Park Leeds RUFC. She then went on to represent Yorkshire U18s and Senior side in union before debuting in league for the Giants in 2021.

Making 7 appearances with a try in her first season, Fairbank went on to feature in the Women’s Super League Shield Grand Final at Headingley.

Speaking on re-joining the squad, Chloe said:

“I’m thrilled to be re-signing for the Giants, the squad is solid with great energy and some quality players. It’s a really exciting time for the side and I can’t wait to be a part of it. 

I'm looking forward to developing my personal rugby skills and being able to help the Giants push the top teams. 

I’ve not been playing league for long so I'm very grateful to be given the opportunity to learn and gain experience at such a high level.”

"It's an absolute pleasure to have Chloe back in the squad. She was an integral part of the team during our Super League Shield-winning season in 2021. 

She is a strong forward who will set a platform in both attack and defence. She has a great energy and her work ethic is spot on.
