Read all the important information as we welcome both Wigan Warriors Women and Men to the John Smith's Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Another two games at the John Smith's Stadium this Saturday to tick off with the Giants Women taking on Wigan Warriors Women, before Ian Watson's first team take on Wigan Warriors men.

Ensure that you are familiar with all of the ticketing arrangements for this weekend's two games, with all of the information provided in these web articles here. - FAQ's and Ticketing.

Please check before you travel that you have downloaded your new Digital Season Card that will have been emailed to you, if you prefer to use your digital card, then unless you have moved seats, your Season Card from last season will be used, if you have either changed seats or requested a new card, then this will be used.

What's on at the game and when? 

Yet again the Giants have been working hard behind the scenes to improve the match day experience so our loyal supporters can make the most of the evening’s entertainment. The new and improved FanZone, starting from 1:00pm, has been re-located to the front of the stadium to create a hive of activity. 

Pre match activity will include music from Jim Stringer, the live singer preforming in the fanzone. The best cheerleaders in Super League, the Huddersfield Giants Pro-Squad, won’t be far from the DJ tent providing the best dance performances Rugby League has to offer. 

Away supporters are more than welcome to enjoy the Huddersfield Giants FanZone and everything it has to offer.

Food & Drink.

Refreshments will be available from the bar and food outlets with Burger Burger available again, on offer as well as alcoholic and soft drinks and confectionery within the FanZone.

We listened to you, and we've now got one of Rugby League's very own Jordan Lilley bringing his 'It's a grind' Coffee Truck to the Fanzone, with some of the best coffee and hot chocolate in town, for a great price, please support Jordan and his coffee truck, hint, its not sachet coffee, its REAL coffee!

OMGEEBakes will also be present, showcasing the best cakes and buns there is to offer, check them out if you fancy a pre-match treat!

With the summer weather also with us right now, we will have an ice-cream van within the FanZone, offering ice-cream and more for supporters to enjoy.

Activities

The inflatable goal posts will be available, brought to you by the Huddersfield Giants Community Trust, for the younger audience to hone their skills for the future providing a competitive edge to get them in the mood for the game. Big G will also be around the perimeter of the Stadium to provide the kids and the adult kids with an opportunity to get photos with our famous mascot. 

Players will be present within the FanZone in 2024, to give supporters and opportunity to meet and greet with them, bringing them ever closer to the supporters and another reason to get down to the stadium early and soak up the pre-match atmosphere!

The Golden Gamble will return and sellers will be dotted around the stadium for you to buy your tickets, remember, the more bought, the higher the prize!

The results will be displayed at half-time and also right here on the website after the game.

Oxen Van

Unfortunately the Oxen Retail unit will not be available for this game due to circumstances outside of our control, with it being utilised elsewhere.

Legends Bar

The Legends Bar (Located by the Swimming Pool entrance) will be open for HGSA Members only providing a fun and lively environment for like-minded supporters to meet. The Brian Blacker roadshow will return featuring a different player every week, with membership costing only £6 a year and 50% off selected drinks until 2:00pm, you can make yourself a member on the evening. Anyone wishing to join the HGSA can do so HERE.

John Smith's Stadium

The flame cannons will also be pitch side as last season, there will be no light show given that this game is an afternoon kick-off.

Please note, The John Smith's Stadium is a cashless stadium, with Contactless and Chip & Pin accepted within the stadium.

The Family Lounge

The Family Lounge will not be in operation for this fixture.

Car Park

St Andrews Car Park is available to pre-book online, and is priced at £7, there will be a number of spaces available on game day on a first come first serve basis, with cash only accepted and the exact amount if possible to minimise disruption.

Town Avenue car park is sold-out for this fixture.

Running Order

11:30am - Turnstiles open for the Women's game.

12:00pm Giants Women kick-off inside the John Smith's Stadium.

1:00pm FanZone kicks off, with a live DJ, food and drink outlets, child friendly activities and entertainers. | The Legends Bar also opens to HGSA Members only.

2:00pm Turnstiles open for the mens game.

3:00pm Game kicks-off

How much are tickets? 

Pre-buy & SAVE on Matchday Prices. (Prices rise at 12 noon on Gameday)

Adults £21 - Matchday £26

Senior Citizens (65 & Over) £17 - Matchday £21

Under 17s £7 - Matchday £11

Under 5s - Free of Charge (Please be aware under 5’s tickets must be obtained from the ticket office in all home areas which we advise is done in advance to avoid queues on the day)

Ambulant Disabled/Carer £21/Free - Matchday £26/Free

Disabled Wheelchair/Carer £17/Free - Matchday £21/Free

Ticketing arrangements for the women's game can be found by clicking here. - You must have a separate ticket for the women's game, and exit the stadium after the conclusion of this game to re-enter from 2:00pm for the first team game.

Please note, that this season there will be no Cash turnstiles for home and away supporters, however the Ticket Office will accept card and cash, but large queues are expected on match day with the Giants recommending you book online through our ticketing site.

The Giants ticket office will open at 10am on Saturday, for you to get your tickets!

We are advising that supporters, where possible, use Mobile and Print at Home tickets to minimise disruption to the Club's Ticket Office that we expect will have large queues on Gameday.

Away Supporters

All away supporters are advised that they can purchase tickets for the Magic Rock Brewing Stand up until kick-off, using our E-Ticking site, with a mobile ticket sent directly to their email that they can use to gain entry.

There will be no Pay at the turnstile option for away supporters this season, with away supporters still able to purchase a ticket at the ticket office, but large queues are expected.

In this area only there will be a small number of Under 5 tickets with a steward who will be situated by the away turnstiles.

Will the Players Bar be open?

The Player's Bar is open for Bar Pass holders only. 

Will Block 7 be in operation again?

Block 7 will once again be situated to the back of the Chadwick Lawrence Stand, in Block 7 where our most vocal fans will congregate to create a raucous Gameday atmosphere to support the Giants, an initiative headed by the Huddersfield Giants Supporters Association to improve the atmosphere at the John Smiths Stadium.
