TOM CLOUGH JOINS AS HEAD OF PERFORMANCE

Huddersfield Giants are delighted to announce the appointment of Tom Clough as our new Head of Performance.

Tom joins from Ulster Rugby, where he also held the title of Head of Athletic Performance and will oversee the Giants first-team squad's strength and conditioning throughout the 2025 season.

A key addition to the backroom staff, Tom boasts numerous years of experience within Rugby League, whilst also working in a number of other sports and will start work with the players tomorrow (Friday 8th November) as they return for pre-season testing.

In his first interview, Tom said, "I think I bring the experience of working with lots of groups of people in different environments. I'll be hand picking the best bits that I've learned and putting them in place."

Tom also said, "It's exciting to see and be part of the journey that Robbo is on. It's good to get the momentum and get everyone falling into line and pulling in the same direction."

On looking ahead to 2025, Tom has outlined his goals for the coming year.

"We need to ensure we're all aligned in what we do. I think for me it's about connecting with the squad and the staff to go on the journey where we make the best of the opportunity in front of us."
