FIT FUTURES INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY TRAIN YOUNG GIANTS

Former Giants player Jason Laurence - now owner of Fit Futures International Academy has kindly sponsored a number of our young players to help them gain fitness qualifications.

Fit Futures International Academy - ran by Jason Lawrence since 2013, which has thousands of instructors in Australia and within the UK, will be sponsoring numerous Giants Academy players to achieve their Level 2 certificate in gym instruction on campus and this will take place at club partners Big Box Huddersfield, once they complete that qualification they will go onto complete their Level 3 Diploma in personal training.

Jason commented on the partnership with the club.

"As an ex player I wanted to do something for the club, I was in the UK for nine years and the Giants were one of the clubs that had the biggest influence over me and I wanted to give something back to this club and the younger players coming through the pathway.

"I wanted to do something unique by bringing my fitness company to the UK from Australia, and we've opened an office in Elland which is local to Huddersfield, so it's a perfect opportunity for the academy lads to have a backup option for if they aren't successful in Rugby League.

"Anyone that's a Huddersfield Giants supporter who is interested in studying in a fitness qualification, if they quote that they're a Giants fan when speaking with us they will gain an extra 20% discount."
