LORI HALLORAN LOOKS AHEAD TO 2025 SUPER LEAGUE SEASON

Huddersfield Giants Women's Head Coach Lori Halloran discussed the start of the 2025 Betfred Super League season, as we take on Warrington Wolves on Sunday.
With the season starting this Sunday as they take on Warrington Wolves Women at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, we sat down with the Head Coach of the Women's team to discuss her thoughts on pre-season, the upcoming task at hand and what the season holds.
"I believe that they've had a really tough but good pre-season, having the CC before that, its give us a good knowledge of where we are and over this past pre-season, we've taken big strides to get where we are currently.
"We went well in the Challenge Cup, I don't think we reached our potential in the York game but we improved in the game vs Featherstone and we absolutely closed the gap in the Leeds game, we kept the score close and showed the progress we're making.
"The girls have looked and reflected after last season, we fell short and we don't want to be in that position again, we want to be competing against the top four, we've done everything as coaching staff and players to get things in place to give us the best shot possible to perform well.
"I'm confident we can get a number of wins on the board, we've brought in some really talented players this season to compliment our existing strong squad, I'm looking forward Sunday to see how we shape up against Warrington and we're absolutely aiming for a strong fifth position.
