GIANTS WELCOME BOX4KIDS TO LEIGH GAME

Huddersfield Giants were delighted to welcome Box4Kids to our latest game vs Leigh Leopards, where numerous children watched the game from a hospitality box.

We were delighted to once again welcome Box4Kids to the Huddersfield Giants, strengthening our working relationship with them, and the children enjoying a fantastic experience where they were greeted by players and watched our Betfred Super League fixture from the best seats in the house.

Box4Kids scheme was launched in 2010 when Barrie Wells first purchased an executive box at Liverpool Football Club solely for the purpose of Box4Kids. The box is still used exclusively at every match for the benefit of seriously ill and disabled children.

The boxes provide a safe and relaxing environment for children and most importantly the opportunity to be treated like a VIP for the day. These much deserved experiences provide quality time for each child and their guest, away from the day-to-day challenges they face with their illnesses. Often, boxes are left empty at events and this provides the Trust with fantastic opportunities to fill these boxes with deserving children. Organisations are able to simply donate their boxes to the Barrie Wells Trust for individual events and the Events team then handle all the logistics for the day.

Some of the highlights children can enjoy include a fantastic atmosphere, goody bags, delicious food, incredible hospitality, and meeting mascots.

The Huddersfield Giants look forward to welcoming Box4Kids again in the future.
