JAGGER DRAFTED INTO YORKSHIRE ORIGIN SQUAD

Giants Academy starlet Lewis Jagger replaces Leeds’ Jacob Hardy for the second edition of this year’s Academy Origin.

As a first year, this is a huge achievement for Lewis and the Giants Academy side who now have two players involved in the series. Jagger joins fellow Academy Giant, Archie Sykes in the squad that will face Lancashire at Sewell Group Craven Park on August 2nd. 

Yorkshire will be looking to go 2-0 up in the series over Lancashire, after winning the first match of the year 40-22 in April.

On August 2nd, the Academy Origin will form part of a Double Header, with the Women’s Origin side, Yorkshire’s Women featuring Amelia Brown and Mollie Iceton from the Giants, followed by England Women’s clash with Wales.

Both Origin fixtures will be available on the England Rugby League Youtube Channel.
