SENSATIONAL GIANTS CLAIM TWO POINTS

Huddersfield Giants put on their best performance of the season to win 14-30 at the MKM Stadium.

Luke Robinson welcomed back Joe Greenwood and Fenton Rogers back into his starting lineup, with the latter making an impact early on.

His towering carries helped us up the field, with Tui Lolohea then kicking a superb 40/20 that gave us field position and we took advantage.

Lolohea was involved once again, sending a pass out wide to Adam Swift who touched down in the corner, his second try in two games since returning from injury.

Hull FC had most of the first 30 minutes, with dominant field position but the Giants defence stood firm and held them out.

The home side would cross however, as they were awarded a penalty just inside their half for a high tackle, and Lewis Martin took an offload from Davy Litten to score.

The Giants would however gain themselves a penalty, and use it to good advantage, with a grubber kick from Matt Frawley seeing Joe Greenwood cap off his return to the side with a well taken try.

Hull started to throw the ball about, and an error on half-way from Rapana saw Jake Bibby scoop up the loose ball with minutes remaining and race away to extend our lead, 4-18 the score stood at the break with Flanagan converting all three tries.

We started the second half in strong form, pushing winger Harvey Barron out wide who thought he'd scored, but the video referee denied him, with the winger grounding the ball on the touchline.

As the half drew on, we found ourselves back in FC territory, and the superb Flanagan took on Litten and bashed his way through, touching down and converting once again from the touchline.

We led 4-24, Hull FC would score in the corner with winger Martin, but it was only to be a consolation as Sky Sports Man of the Match Tui Lolohea took matters into his own hands from an FC error.

A fast ball from dummy-half saw Lolohea target Ese'ese and dive over, sealing the two points for Luke Robinson's men, Flanagan adding the two on a perfect afternoon from the boot.

Martin crossed once again in the closing stages, but it didn't matter in the end, as we ran out 14-30 winners, picking up a much needed two points.
