SCHOLARSHIP ENJOY A SUCCESSFUL 2025

Jonny Wainhouse's Scholarship team rounded off their season last week, and enjoyed a successful season with plenty of victories.

In what was an impressive season for the scholarship, forty players got to represent the Claret and Gold at U16's level, picking up six wins from eight and two impressive results over Salford and Bradford.

Last month, we travelled to Salford and kept a clean sheet and also scored 58 points, running out 0-58 winners on the evening in what was a well rounded performance, that can be viewed on YouTube.

Jonny Wainhouse's men then followed it up with a 44-0 win at home to Bradford, two clean sheets in a row showing the impressive ability of our U16's.

During the season, we also picked up wins over Hull FC, Wakefield and Castleford to add to a great season all round and a massive congratulations to all of the coaching staff for their hard work in developing the next generation of Huddersfield Giants.

The best moment of the season however was dismantling the Rhinos at AMT Headingley, as we recorded a 16-24 victory at what is regarded as the best pathway system in the game, highlights of that win can be viewed here.

The club would also like to thank the HGSA for their hard work that we know they consistently put in with all our pathway and women's teams, pictured is Jovi Bentley-Elliot after the scholarships close win over Hull KR.
