Royal Marines Commando Values Man of the Match vs Hull FC

The Commando values Man of the Match is two joint winners with Lewis Jagger and Harvey Barker!

Despite defeat, the Giants Coaching staff have selected two winners of the Man of the Match Award.

Steve Fox explains why...

"Once again another disappointing performance after a great start to our Academy season. On a positive note Lewis and Harvey were joint MOM after impressive individual performances." 

"Due to injuries Lewis played out of position on the wing this week and did not disappoint with some great work coming out of yardage and making some good defensive reads on his edge. He also scored two well-taken tries. This on the back of his Origin selection tops off a positive week for him."

"As for Harvey. Once again another who constantly carried the ball well out of Yardage and scored out on the edge after some smart ball movement and a try assist for Lewis’s second try." 

"Both players are first year Academy Players and have made a brilliant start to the campaign earning themselves selection into our Reserve grade games."
