SUPER LEAGUE WINNER AND ENGLAND INTERNATIONAL JOINS THE GIANTS

The Giants are pleased to announce the signing of Women’s England International Kelsey Gentles

A Super League League Leaders winner and Grand Final winner with York Valkyrie, Kelsey joins the club after spending some time out of the game rehabbing a knee injury. With all that behind her, she’s ready to hit the ground running for the remainder of the season and beyond.

It’s a huge scoop for the Giants, adding experience to the camp, whilst also being able to give our promising Under 19s squad any advice they need to make it to the top.

Kelsey said that the project at the Giants is what attracted her to sign, with the new and improved Gym facilities on the horizon, she believes that the future is bright.

“Huddersfield are a team that have always had potential, and have been unlucky to be in the bottom four of the WSL. When the prospects of playing for another team came about, I knew that the Giants have a great under 19s programme, and they are a club that are investing in the Women’s team. There’s going to be a bespoke new Gym, for the Women’s team can use and train in.”

“Right now, they are on a journey to push into the top four, and I want to be a part of that journey.”
