Defeat in Wakefield for the Giants

Here's how the action unfolded...
A torrid day for the Giants over at the DIY Kitchens Stadium which ended in defeat.
After a six again call in their favour after the ball came loose from Lino’s grasp, Wakefield made it count. A shift to the right edge found Matty Russell who dotted down in the corner to open the scoring on 8 minutes
Caaius Faatili added another to the score after 20 minutes. He broke through and bounced off Flanagan to go alone and score.Giants were down to 12 temporarily five minutes later. Taane Milne was sent to the sin bin for a high tackle on Rourke, although after being looked at, the mitigation meant a yellow card was enough.
Excellent from Marshall Land as veteran Matty Russell made a break. Land with a perfect tackle dislodged ball for the Giants to scoop up.
Smith added his name to the scoresheet before the interval too, scooting through from close range. The Giants did, however, get on the board through a George Flanagan penalty goal with just one second before the hooter.
The hosts opened their second half account just five minutes after the restart when Nikotemo cut through on the left edge, before Trueman got up in support of McMeeken to execute a two-on-one just two minutes later.
On 53 minutes, Atoni crashed over from 10m out, closely followed by a lucky ricochet and Rourke in the right spot on 56 minutes to extend the lead further. Matty Russell dived in in the corner for another with 10 minutes left to play.
