Here's how the action unfolded

After a cagey opening ten minutes, it was the visitors who struck first. After back-to-back sets, the ball found it’s way to Croft 10m out. He stabbed a kick through and bounced up just right for Newman to dot down.

Giants in the ascendency thereafter with an excellent piece of defending from Bibby. He ran 50m to chase a Rush Kick that held up and buried Miller in goal.

Jake Connor added two with a penalty goal 3 minutes before half time after being stopped following his own kick through just 10m out.

An off the ball incident led to more points for the visitors, with Connor again the man to add the penalty goal.

The second half had the Giants defending again for long periods, but spells of brilliance to drag them up field.

They held out until the hour mark before the Rhinos posted more points. Gannon found a gap and went through to score, with Miller converting after Jake Connor limped off earlier in the contest.

The game was beyond doubt 3 minutes from time when Croft again, broke through and went on a solo run to take the Rhinos total to 20 without reply.
