ACADEMY STAR TO PLAY FOR WALES FIRST TEAM

Charlie Newton, who was set to captain Wales 'A', will now feature for the first team vs Ireland on Saturday.

Newton who has impressed coaches at Wales, will now take his place in the Wales first team vs fellow Giants George King, Connor Carr and Harry Rushton who will play for Ireland.

This is a huge achievement for a rising star, who has already captained Wales previously at younger age levels in their series vs Ireland earlier on this year.
