DAVE WILSON PROMOTED TO FIRST TEAM

Huddersfield Giants are delighted to announce the promotion Dave Wilson to First Team Rehabilitation Conditioner.

The former Academy Strength & Conditioning coach has moved into the first team environment where he is familiar with after offering his skillset numerous times during the previous seasons, with his hard work and expertise rewarded in a well deserved promotion.

He will now work alongside new Head of Performance Gareth Whittaker in assisting all Strength and Conditioning duties within the first team set up.

We discussed the promotion with Dave, and how much he's looking forward to getting to work during pre-season and the upcoming campaign.

"I'm made up to gain this promotion, it's not my first time within first team environments with seven years experience in Super League and Championship, and I've also worked with the first team at different parts of the previous seasons.

"I've worked extremely hard during my time here with the Reserve and Academy lads alongside Steve Fox, and to see the lads I've worked with come through and join the first team, and I'm delighted to be joining them and I can further aid their development.

"Players like Jacob Algar, Archie Sykes, Logan Blacker, I've been with them through the pathway and now its nice to join up with them again, I know a lot of the lads in the first team so it'll be a seamless transition for me."
