CARROLL PROMOTED TO FIRST TEAM

Huddersfield Giants are delighted to announce that former Lead Academy Therapist Adam Carroll has been promoted to join the medical team for the first team.

Adam will now work alongside recently announced Gareth Whittaker and Dave Wilson, with Head of Medical Patrick Robertson as he completes the First Team conditioning and medical team, taking the role of Lead Rehabilitation Therapist.

After working with the Academy for numerous years, his hard work was rewarded with a promotion to the First Team set up, one he is delighted to have been given the opportunity.

"It's good to see that as well as a player pathway, there's a pathway for staff to move unto the first team, moving up with Dave is great for us, I've been at the club for four years now and Robbo was keen on there being a pathway for us staff and it's nice to see the hard work rewarded.

"Robbo just wants a fit team this year and that's our job to make that happen, we need to keep the spine of the team on the field and I'm looking forward to working with the first team.

"We've taken on some of the lads that are nearing the end of their recovery from the season just gone, but its exciting to meet the new lads and ensure that they are ready to go, make plans for them for preseason and ensure they get through it."
