TAANE MILNE ON PRE-SEASON

We spoke with Taane Milne on how he's feeling after joining back in with the Giants pre-season after playing internationally for Fiji.

After spending an extended period back in Australia due to International Commitments with Fiji, playing in the Pacific Championships competition, Taane is now back with the group and back in pre-season training.

We sat down with Taane this afternoon to discuss how the Internationals went, what he's been upto in the off-season and how he's been looking forward to getting back with the group.

"I've enjoyed being back here, the staff have looked after me in my first week back, easing me into things and now i'm back into the full drills and training and everything and its been good.

"It's been awesome to go back home and have a break, i caught up with a lot of friends and we went up to the Gold Coast, it was a refreshing break for me and then went into the Fiji camp, its something i always pride myself on representing Fiji, there's nothing i love more than playing for them and its one of the best things of my career.

"We've got some new recruits here and i'm looking forward to seeing how they add to our team, seeing them in training they're all keen to impress and having the injured lads back within the group adds to it too, we know that last season wasn't good enough and we're all working extremely hard in pre-season to fix up and ensure next season is more enjoyable for us all."
