MORE CHANGES AS WILLIAMS JOINS

The Huddersfield Giants are pleased to announce the addition of Adam Williams to the Academy coaching set up as the new Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Adam has plentiful experience within the game, especially in the key area of youth development in a Super League pathway system.
Adam said, “After doing my masters, I went to Widnes Vikings as Head of Strength and Conditioning for a season and then last season worked at Warrington Wolves as their Scholarship Strength and Conditioning Coach.
The conversations I’ve had with Steve Fox have been really good conversations, we’re on the same wavelength of where we want the academy and the entire pathway to end up from a physical point of view and from performance point of view. So starting to align on that now and get a good idea of where the season's going to go.
You can expect commitment from myself. I'm committed to making these young players better and get them to commit to my way of doing things.”
Head of Youth Steve Fox is buoyed by the addition of Adam and is thrilled that his values and philosophies align with the Huddersfield Giants youth pathway system.
“We’re really excited to have Adam on board. We were genuinely lucky the application standard was very high. Adam came up top, really excited at the prospect, and he really falls in line with our philosophies on youth development, and we genuinely feel that it'll be an exciting and exciting addition to the group. His beliefs are the same and not just building quality athletes but also making them more well-rounded young men too.”
