The Giants are saddened to learn of the passing of former player Garry Coulter.

Garry began his Rugby League career with Elland and progressed into the professional world when he signed for Keighley in 1987 aged 18. He later moved on to Doncaster from where Huddersfield splashed out a record £20,000 fee to secure his services in January 1992.
Garry made his debut in the claret and gold on 20 January 1992 at Hunslet. A tough, uncompromising second row forward who never took a backward step he was a vital member of the 1992 Third Division Championship winning team and played at Old Trafford in the 1995 Divisional Premiership Final.
After making 108 appearances for Huddersfield, scoring 22 tries. His final game for the club was at Salford on 16 June 1996 before finishing his professional rugby career with a short spell at Oldham in 1999.
Garry’s heritage number is 1031.
