GIANTS WOMEN HOLD SHIRT PRESENTATION EVENING

Ahead of their first home friendly of the 2026 season in the Betfred Women's Super League, we held a presentation evening for the full squad.

All members of the first team squad would receive their shirt and squad number ahead of the 2026 campaign, with First Team stars George Flanagan and Adam Clune in attendance on the evening to present the women with their shirt.

The Women's team has been bolstered with the signings of Ellé Frain, Georgia Cussons, Hannah Watt, Olivia Gale and Izzy Swallow. Four players have moved up from the U19’s – Leah Mae Beckett, Holly Whitaker, Emily Buttery and Leah Schofield. Unfortunately Emily has been ruled out long term with a knee injury. While international Amelia Brown will take the number one shirt yet again, all under the new Head Coach Nathan Graham.

Giants Women star Bethan Oates will once again take the 13 shirt, a long-time member of the squad, exciting young winger Mollie Iceton retains her number 5 shirt, with Faye Barraclough moving into the 2 shirt.

Huddersfield Giants Women's team play their home games at Laund Hill, with all the details posted weekly on our social media and also promoted on Huddersfield Giants Supporters Association's Facebook page!

This Sunday 22^nd March will see the Women take to the field for our first home friendly, v Leigh Leopards. 3pm at Laund Hill.
