CARLOS RE-JOINS GIANTS!

Will Carlos has rejoined the club from Burnley Football Club as Head of Medical Services, as Jim Lenihan looks to strengthen our performance team.

William re-joins the club after spending four years at former Premier League side Burnley, returning to the club that he spent four years at previously as Head Physiotherapist and Academy Physiotherapist.

This is yet another positive addition as we look to strengthen our backroom and performance team here at the Giants, after launching Unleashed at the start of 2026, the club has undergone mass change to recruit the very best staff and we have an excellent performance team, bolstered by William re-joining the club.

Director of Rugby Andy Kelly commented on the return of William.

"It's fantastic news for the club, he knows this club inside out after coming through our Academy system and then working at the club in a similar capacity to what he is now before, he's had experience in the Premier League with Burnley and will now bring that expertise to the Giants, the whole club will benefit from that experience."

William also discussed returning to the club as Head of Medical Services.

"It's good to be back at the Giants, having the time away has matured me but coming back has allowed me to bring back that experience and hopefully have a positive impact on the Medical team and what we do here.

"Majority of my work at Burnley was transitioning the Academy from Cat 2 to Cat 1 but it was great to work with the practitioners at the club, I'm coming back with a wealth of knowledge and to improve processes and the players."
