• Gavet made his debut in 2012 for Canterbury Bulldogs.
• Since then he has had spells with West Tigers, Brisbane Broncos, New Zealand Warriors and Newcastle Knights.
• His brother-in-law, Steven Adams, is a professional basketball player in the NBA at Oklahoma City Thunder
• Gavet has represented his heritage by playing for Samoa in full-international on 2 occasions, and also played for Samoa in the inaugural World Cup 9s competition.
• In 2020, he will look to crack the Super League as he plays in the Northern Hemisphere competition for the first time.
