HUDDERSFIELD GIANTS DISABLED SUPPORTER INFORMATION
Huddersfield Giants pride themselves as a club that offer a high standard of facilities to disabled supporters.
For any enquiries about access for disabled supporters at the John Smith's Stadium, please contact the Huddersfield Giants Ticket Office Manager Rachel Chambers - Tel No. 01484 484159 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
There are 44 matchday disabled parking spaces available in the St Andrews car park (situated behind the John Smith's Stand 18 on upper level of car park and 26 on lower level). These are allocated on a first come, first served basis and the club advises all away supporters to pre-book their space. Once the disabled spaces have been filled Blue Badge holders will have to pay. The Stadium was designed in conjunction with disabled groups and as such offers some of the finest facilities for disabled supporters, including raised viewing platforms for both the home and away fans.
For wheelchair bound supporters there are designated seats in the LV=Britannia Rescue Stand, The Abzorb Stand (Away End) and the Revell Ward Stand Lower Tier.
Match commentary is available for visually impaired supporters and can be accessed through the John Smith's Stadium Reception. The equipment is 'wire free' and can be used in all areas of the stadium. There is a £10 refundable deposit required.
Disabled supporters have access to toilets specifically designed for their use with 13 in total, including 2 situated in the Abzorb Stand. Stewards are on hand at all times on match days to assist disabled supporters and ensure they enjoy their match day experience at the John Smith's Stadium.
