GIANTS STARS PAY TRIBUTE TO SUPPORTERS

Swap and sing with the Giants Band on Sunday

As the Giants aim to close the gap on third place to just one point against Hull KR on Sunday (3pm kick-off), why not help raise the roof and join the Giants Band at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Season Ticket holders can transfer to the back of the Britannia Rescue Stand to join the Giants Band and cheer the boys on against Hull KR.

Fans who have a Season Ticket in the Revell Ward Stand can transfer to the Britannia Rescue Stand free of charge on Sunday, while those in the Fantastic Media Lower can upgrade their tickets for £8 for adults and £5 for concessions.

The support away at Widnes during the Giants’ last game was outstanding, and a number of Claret and Gold stars have commented on how much of an impact the fans have had this year.

Giants prop Eorl Crabtree said: “At Widnes the fans were absolutely brilliant, as they have been all year. We keep talking about the Cowbell Army and we want to add numbers to them because they’re brilliant; they get all the fans and the players going. I think it was a mutual respect between the fans and players at the end of the game at Widnes. We respect our fans because of the noise and the fact they travel over to watch us and they appreciate that we had 12 men we were having such a good game. It goes both ways, we buzz off the back of them buzzing and it was great to see.”

Captain Danny Brough and winger Jodie Broughton echoed Big Eorl’s sentiments.

“Once again all the lads thought the fans were brilliant against Widnes,” said Brough. “Everybody likes getting cheered on and I just hope we can give them something to cheer today.”

Broughton paid special tribute to the Claret and Gold faithful: “Our fans have been fantastic this year, especially the away support. Earlier on in the season when I was sitting on the benches I really noticed it and since I’ve been back on the field they have been great. I’d like to say thank you to them because they’ve played a big part in our recent form.”

Why not join in with the Giants Band and help give the boys another boost on Sunday.

With the club’s Click and Collect service, fans can purchase their tickets online and pick them up on matchday from the designated Ticket Office collection window with no booking fee.

2015 Season Ticket holders can Bring a Buddy to the Rovers clash by using the second voucher in their booklets. Fans can bring an adult friend for £15 or Over 65s/Under 23s for just £10. Please note Bring a Buddy tickets must be bought through the John Smith's Stadium Ticket Office.
